If you haven't used the Ametra app before, here are some steps to help you get started:

1. Create a New Project

  • Go to the Project interface (bottom left)

  • Tap "+ Add Project" (bottom center)

  • Name your project (ex: "Leo's House"), then add an address and cover image.

2. Add Areas and Items

  • Create folders for Areas (ex: Floors, Rooms) by clicking "+ Add Area" (bottom center)

  • Add Items (ex: Walls, Doors) within Areas

3. Add Images and Notes

  • Once you've created an Area or Item, you can attach notes and photos

    • Use the "Info" tab to add written notes or additional details about the work

    • Also attach photos (ex: inspiration photos, before photos, progress photos, etc.)

4. Set Target Colors for Items

5. Match Paint Color

  • Click on the "Match Paint" tab

  • Your target color will automatically be matched to the closest paint color from over 7,000 options

    • You can also apply filters to select by paint brand or color range

  • Select the best paint color match

6. Control the Final Result

  • Go to the "Control" tab (after the "Selected Paint" tab)

  • Take an "after" photo of your painting result to control

  • You can also take control measurements by selecting a color in your Control photo to ensure your result matches up with the original Target color

    • When taking control measurements, keep in mind that things like lighting can affect the outcome, and that digital colors don't always perfectly translate — this function is mainly for progress tracking

7. Review and Manage Photos

  • Go to the "Photo Gallery" tab (next to Navigator in Projects) to view and organize all the photos you’ve uploaded for your project

    • Each photo is linked to the corresponding Area or Item for easy reference

8. Complete the Project

  • Once you've finished, feel free to look through your project and ensure that all steps are documented with photos and notes

  • That's it! You're client-ready!

Post-Project

9. Save and Reuse Colors

  • Any colors used in your project can be saved to your My Colors folder for future use in new projects.

10. Organize and Navigate All Projects

  • Use the hierarchical structure to quickly navigate between projects, areas, items, and their respective photos and details.

Enjoy a seamless and efficient painting project experience with Ametra and ensure quality results every time!
